Plantation ride

We will meet for breakfast at 7:00AM at the Plantation Inn at 1381 West Tunnel Blvd. From there we will stop at the Southdown Plantation at 1208 Museum Drive in Houma.

From there we will head out on La 24 to La 20 too River Road in Vacherie. Turn right too the Gramercy bridge, cross over the Mississippi River and get on La 44 east, (River Road), to the San Fransisco Plantation, 2646 Hwy 44 Garyville La, 70051. From there, back on La 44/942 to the Houmas House, 40100 River Road Darrow LA 70725. From there we will back track a few miles on Hwy 44 to the Sunshine bridge and cross over the Mississippi river too La 18,(River Road) and go too the Nottoway Plantation, which is one of the nicest plantations you will ever see. From there we will go back track too Oak Alley Plantation, which is also one of the nicest plantations you will ever see. From there we will go back too Hwy 3219 too 3127 turn right too Hwy 70, turn left too hwy 308 and go too the Madewood plantation in Napoleanville. That will be the final plantation we will hit. From there we will head down 308, cross over too La 1 and head too Raceland and take Hyw 90 west too Houma. If time permits we will end the ride at Zydeco HD or when we reach Houma depending on the time.  

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Zydeco Chapter #5085 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Zydeco Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
